February 22, 23, 24, 2019
New Orleans, LA
NOLA Motorsports Park is located only 14 miles (20 minutes by expressway) from downtown New Orleans. The weekend will be a shared event with the NOLA NASA Region and will include the PCA Races, NASA HPDE, NASA Time Trial, and NASA Races. The PCA practice sessions and races will be in their own run groups separate and apart from the NASA run groups. We will be using the 2.75-mile configuration with the “esses”. If you would like to extend your stay, secure trailer parking is available before and after the event.

We would like to first thank the major sponsors of our event:

NOLAsport Porsche Specialists - www.nolasport.net

Brian Harris Porsche of Baton Rouge - https://www.brianharrisporsche.com

Hotel Information - Very Important:

The race weekend is also the start of Mardi Gras in New Orleans which continues on until Mardi Gras Day which is Tuesday, March 5th.  The days immediately following the race are a good time to see what Mardi Gras is all about without the huge crowds that will be in town the following weekend.  Nevertheless there will still be a lot of tourists in town and hotel rooms will become scarce. The downtown hotels will be especially difficult to get. If you would like to stay close to the track, we have a block of rooms reserved at the Candlewood Suites which is 2 miles from the track at $109/night. Email John Crosby at jlcrosby@crosbydevelopment.com to make your reservation.
Don't wait until the last minute, book your rooms now.

Here is an outline of the PCA Schedule for the weekend:

Friday – Practice Sessions, Fun Race & 75 Minute Enduro Points Race. (With refueling.)

Saturday – Warm up, & 2 Sprint Points Races. (Total of 3 points races for the weekend.)

Sunday – Australian Pursuit Race (Inverted grid with a staggered start. Not a PCA Points Race.)
Pursuit Race victory celebration, trophies and Champagne for the top three finishers!

The Sunday race will be over at noon so you can get headed home early or better yet,
go down to the French Quarter and join in the Mardi Gras celebration.

Thursday Test & Tune:

The cost is $200, Open track from 1 PM to 5 PM, racecars only, full race gear.
